_ There are two Wells street popcorn stores in
Chicago, but they are both little far from school. Although it would take time
to go to the store, we can use CTA bus 29 and 62. The store which located on
Clark street is near the shopping district, so there are a lot of shops around
the popcorn store. The store appearance is not obvious, and I cannot find it immediately
at first glance, but the big popcorn icon on the canvas canopy help me to focus
my sight. Before I enter the store, I find a simple menu attach on the window
and there are some cute decoration put inside the shop window.
_ The store is small but elegant and clean, and
there are not a lot ornaments and interior design in the store. The store
supplies all kinds of popcorn flavors, size and package. You can choose small
to extra large size or the bag, plastic and tin bucket. The price is not
expensive, but comparing the same size to other popcorn store, the quantity of
popcorn is smaller. Some popcorn sold by other store is too salty and sweet,
but he taste of Chicago mix flavor here is not too strong or light, and the
cheese and caramel popcorn mixed together could generate a new taste. The store
seems not popular, so when I bought popcorn, there was no other customer in
store; after I went out the store, there was just one customer enter the store.
Even though there is no long line waiting for popcorn, I think the taste is
good and they serve the traditional flavor of popcorn without deluxe decoration
and package. I would interested in trying other flavors next time.
